+ When lighting the candle for the first time kindly allow the candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the container. This helps to prevent tunneling, and to ensure a more consistent burn for future uses.
+ Place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from any flammable materials and from the reach of children or pets.
+ It's best to avoid burning a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the wick from becoming too long and the vessel from overheating.
+ Never leave a burning candle unattended and always put out a candle before going to bed.
+ Trim wick to about 1/8 - 1/4 inch before every use to ensure an even burn and to reduce excessive smoking and flickering.
+ Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle to minimise smoke and to prevent the hot wax from splattering.
+ When not in use, store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. This helps in maintaining the scent, colour, and overall quality of the candle.
